Maddy & Alex’s Organic Wedding Flowers

Maddy and Alex’s wedding at The Union Exchange in Monroe, NC was all about organic wedding flowers with a whimsical, cottagecore feel and our team was so here for it. We leaned into locally grown, seasonal blooms to create something warm, earthy, and totally personal. Think rich amber tones, creamy neutrals, and dreamy touches of lavender that played perfectly with the forest backdrop. Loads of dahlias, cosmos, alliums, celosia, and more were studded throughout.

Everything was designed to feel like it belonged in the landscape, wild and intentional, soft but textural. Their bouquets and installations had that just-gathered, enchanted-garden look, full of movement and soul. The arbor was wrapped in foliage, grasses, and flowers weaving in an out of a wrought-iron trellis that we wanted to poke through just enough.
